About

Welcome Dear Friends,

Thank you for registering for the ongoing Ayin Meshk Class of our Makam Meshk series. STCM and ANA+ are pleased to present these unique classes and are delighted you will be joining us.

Below you will find the times for your classes as well as the Zoom link. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can get us all settled and start on time. Many people take this time to say hello to each other and to Timuçin Hoca.

Zoom Meeting Information

Topic: Makam Meshk - AYIN CLASS

Time: Mar 2, 2025, 12:00 PM Pacific Time

Duration: 90 minutes

Frequency: Recurring every Sunday

Join Zoom Meeting:

https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82749854323?pwd=ZhUgtXJ2SItIA7Bs03D8sBPYKoTtXy.1

Meeting ID: 827 4985 4323

Passcode: 617564

Please join the session with your sound muted and only turn it on when you are speaking. If you are joining the session on a phone, you can save wear and tear by turning off your camera until Hoca calls on you.

We are also asking all students to turn on ‘original sound for musicians’ within the Zoom client. If you do not know how to do this, please email fatima@turkishclassicalmusic.org, state what platform you are using (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, etc), and Fatima will provide you instructions.

Please note that Daylight Savings begins on Sunday, March 9th. STCM will move our clocks forward one hour, and the class start time will move forward with the clocks. Those who do not observe a time change, such as those in Hawaii and Türkiye, will need to adjust 1 hour earlier accordingly.

You will be automatically added to the class discussion group on the Anatolian Arts site, so please feel free to check it out! You can gain access to this group from your ‘Subscriptions’ page: https://www.anatolianarts.org/account/my-subscriptions

You can also manage your subscription from that page on any device.

For a seamless experience on your phone, we recommend downloading Spaces by Wix and logging in with your email.

You will also receive an email one day before each class as a reminder and to notify you of any updates.

We look forward to playing music together!
